Looking Back
It’s something I never saw coming – I’m not sure anyone really did. I always felt I’d be doing this for the rest of my life, but my time in the restaurant industry is coming to a close, and looking back on my time working in food establishments, I remember all the good and the [...]
In A Glass Case of Emotion
The day has nearly come – I’m one step closer to accomplishing my dream. The only thing is I have absolutely no idea how I feel about it all.
The Bad Rap the Upper Class Seem to Get
To be perfectly honest, I don’t get offended easily. Honestly. I may vent a lot, or pretend that something really irritated me, but it’s really just for a laugh. I’m very laid back and don’t take things seriously all the time – doing that would make me get very uptight and no fun to be around.
I got offended last night and it really bothers me.
Fear, Fearing Fear, and Getting Over It
Holy mother of God – I’m scared out of my mind. I really shouldn’t be - I should be honored and elated. Ecstatic. Overjoyed. Stoked. And I am… sort of. However, I have this looming gray cloud now hovering over my head, raining drops of “don’t mess this up!” Yesterday, I was asked by one of my [...]
Stop Taking Boring Night-Time Shots!
No offense – your night time photos could use some work. Okay, the opening sentence and subject title seem a little harsh, but consider it “tough love”. It’s not that you’re not trying – I understand this – and all those camera settings are extremely confusing! Heck, I’ll admit it: sometimes, I still use the [...]
Inspiration Everywhere
I’m sitting here in the doctor’s waiting room, waiting for Caroline to come out and tell me that I accurately diagnosed her ailment (I told you two days ago that it was bronchitis, Caroline! I win, yet again!), and in the meantime, I can’t help but notice the spread of magazines before me. I look [...]
And So It Begins…
So, this is where it all starts, I suppose. However, I don’t feel like it’s really “the beginning” – I feel like I’m looking at yet another milestone in my life. Like the beginning of the movie “Fight Club”, where Edward Norton’s character has a gun in his mouth in what would be the end of the movie, but tells the story about how he got to that point.
Yeah, that’s where I’m at right this instant with this blog.
